When the SHTF

Has anyone of you considered migrating to Costa Rica, Panama or somewhere in S.A. in the near future when the SHTF? The way the government is falling apart economically, morally etc. the more I want to get the Hell out of Dodge. Any info of positives (and negatives) info in this transition process to another locale will be most welcome. Links to comments would be most appreciative

Plenty of threads on this subject created in the past. You may find the search feature here on GIM useful to find the information you desire. I believe there may even be some social groups created relating to the subject of expatriation.
